Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 30, 2026

AutoFob Locksmith Services LLC (“AutoFob,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a mobile automotive locksmith business serving Bucks County, Montgomery County, and Philadelphia County. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit our website or contact AutoFob using the contact options provided there.

The website is primarily informational. It offers links you can use to reach us and one contact form, both described below. It has no customer accounts, no online checkout, no embedded maps, and no uploads of any kind.

Information Processed When You Visit the Website

Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery, security, and related infrastructure services for the website. When you request a page or other website resource, Cloudflare may process technical request information needed to deliver, protect, and maintain the website. This information may include:

  • Your IP address
  • Browser, device, and system information
  • The page or resource requested
  • The date and time of the request
  • Referring-page information provided by your browser
  • General location information, such as country or region, derived from your IP address

The website also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which loads a small measurement script — a “beacon” — from Cloudflare in your browser and reports page views and page performance timings. AutoFob uses it only to see aggregate traffic and performance for the website, and it is the only analytics tool on the site. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or client-side storage such as localStorage, does not fingerprint individual visitors, and is not used to build advertising profiles. The request that loads the beacon is a request to Cloudflare, so Cloudflare processes it in the same way as the technical request information described above.

Beyond that, the website does not use behavioral analytics, advertising technology, or cross-site tracking, and it does not use cookies or similar technologies for advertising or behavioral tracking. Cloudflare may use cookies or similar technologies where necessary to provide security, traffic management, or other infrastructure services, including the spam check on the contact form described under “The Contact Form” below.

Cloudflare handles information according to its own services, terms, and Privacy Policy.

Information You Voluntarily Provide

The website links out to telephone, SMS, and email, to WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram Direct, and to AutoFob’s Facebook and Instagram profiles. Selecting one opens that app or service, and what you send reaches AutoFob only through it. The contact form described below is the one part of the website that receives a message you compose.

AutoFob monitors calls during business hours and messages on all of the channels above, reading and answering Facebook Page and Instagram Direct messages through Meta Business Suite. Each message is also processed by its platform under that platform’s own systems and policies.

If you contact AutoFob, we may receive information such as:

  • Your name
  • Your telephone number or email address
  • Account or profile information made available by the messaging platform you use, such as your WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram profile name and photo
  • Your message, voicemail, or email content
  • Your location or requested service location
  • Vehicle information, such as make, model, year, key, fob, or diagnostic details
  • Appointment or scheduling information
  • The service you select from the list on the contact form
  • Any other information you choose to provide

Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is reasonably necessary for us to understand or provide the service you request.

Business calls are not recorded. Call history, voicemail, messages, invoices, and payment records may remain on business devices or in the relevant provider account, including Meta Business Suite. Your carrier, email provider, or messaging platform may also process information under its own privacy policy — see the WhatsApp Privacy Policy and the Meta Privacy Policy, which covers Facebook and Instagram.

The Contact Form

Using the form is optional, and it asks for:

  • Your name (required)
  • Your telephone number and your email address — at least one of the two is required, so that we can reply
  • A ZIP code or town (required), so we can confirm whether you are within our service area
  • The service you need, chosen from a list (required)
  • Your vehicle’s year, make, and model (optional)
  • Anything else you would like to tell us, in a message box (optional)

Please do not use the form to send a VIN, driver’s license, vehicle registration, title, other proof of ownership, key or immobilizer codes, payment card or bank details, or any other sensitive information. The form does not accept file, document, or photo uploads of any kind.

When you submit the form, it is processed by a Cloudflare function, checked for automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile, and delivered by email to AutoFob’s business mailbox through Resend. Your submission is not stored in a website database and does not add you to any mailing list. We use what you send only to respond to your enquiry and to provide the service you ask about, never for promotional marketing. Submitting the form is itself a request to the website, so the technical request information described above is processed by Cloudflare for that request as well, in addition to the fields you fill in.

Turnstile keeps the form from being abused by automated submissions. It runs a check in your browser, and for that purpose Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and signals about your browser and device, and may set or read a token or similar technology needed to complete the check. It is used only to tell automated traffic apart from real visitors on this one form. It is not advertising technology and is not used for behavioral tracking or profiling.

Resend is an email-delivery provider based in the United States, and everything you submit passes through it in order to be delivered. Resend retains sent messages, including their content, for approximately 30 days as part of its normal delivery and troubleshooting records, then removes them according to its own practices; that period is set by Resend and AutoFob cannot shorten it. Resend handles information under its own terms and Privacy Policy. Because Cloudflare and Resend operate in the United States and across global networks, what you send through the form may be processed outside your state or country.

Proof of Ownership or Authorization

AutoFob may need to inspect a driver’s license, vehicle registration, title, or other proof of ownership or authorization before performing certain locksmith services. These cannot be uploaded through the website, and AutoFob ordinarily inspects them without photographing or retaining a copy. Information you separately provide in a message, invoice, or service record may still remain in the relevant business or provider account.

Payments

The website does not process payments and does not collect credit card, debit card, bank-account, or payment-app credentials. Customers may pay outside the website using:

  • Cash
  • Credit and debit cards (processed through Square)
  • Zelle
  • Cash App
  • Venmo

Square, Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, financial institutions, and payment networks process payment information under their own privacy policies and terms. You can review the applicable notices from Square, Cash App, and Venmo. Zelle payments may also be governed by the privacy notice of the participating financial institution.

AutoFob may retain ordinary transaction information, such as the amount, date, payment status, payment method, and payer identity, when reasonably necessary for business, accounting, legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

How AutoFob Uses Information

AutoFob may use information it receives to:

  • Respond to an inquiry, including one sent through the contact form
  • Confirm whether we can assist with a vehicle or location
  • Provide an estimate or schedule service
  • Verify ownership or authorization
  • Perform and follow up on locksmith or diagnostic services
  • Communicate about an appointment, payment, warranty, or service issue
  • Maintain invoices, payment records, and other ordinary business records
  • Protect the security and integrity of the business and website, including preventing, detecting, and addressing automated abuse of the contact form, fraud, misuse, and disputes
  • Comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, or recordkeeping obligations
  • Understand aggregate website traffic and maintain website performance

AutoFob does not use customer contact information for promotional marketing.

Service Providers and Disclosure

Information may be processed by companies and professionals that provide services to AutoFob, including:

  • Cloudflare, for website hosting, content delivery, security, aggregate traffic and performance measurement through Cloudflare Web Analytics, contact form processing, spam prevention through Cloudflare Turnstile, and related infrastructure services
  • Resend, for delivering contact form submissions by email to AutoFob’s business mailbox
  • Telephone and mobile carriers
  • Email and messaging providers
  • WhatsApp
  • Meta, for Facebook Page messages and Instagram Direct messages, which are received and answered through Meta Business Suite
  • Square, Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, financial institutions, and payment networks
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants and tax professionals, when reasonably necessary for accounting or tax purposes

These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.

If AutoFob cannot perform a requested service, we may share the contact, location, vehicle, or service-request information reasonably necessary to refer the job to another locksmith or service provider so the customer can receive service.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect the rights or safety of AutoFob or others, investigate fraud or misuse, or establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.

AutoFob does not sell personal information and does not disclose it to third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.

Reviews, External Links, and Platforms

The website displays selected customer reviews originally published on Google. They are static website content, and reviewer names are abbreviated to a first name and last initial for privacy.

The website’s links to Google, Yelp, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger are ordinary outbound links and messaging shortcuts: they add no advertising or behavioral tracking to the website, and no embedded content from those platforms is loaded on our pages. Following one takes you off AutoFob’s website, after which that provider — for example, Google under its Privacy Policy — may process information about your visit under practices AutoFob does not control.

Retention and Security

AutoFob retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Inquiries that do not become customer transactions are generally deleted within 12 months; records related to completed services may be kept longer for business, accounting, dispute, security, or legal purposes. The appropriate period varies with the type of information, why it was received, and whether it must be kept to meet a business or legal obligation.

Our providers keep their own records, governed by their retention practices rather than ours: Cloudflare may retain request, security, and infrastructure logs, and Resend retains sent messages for approximately 30 days. Information may also remain in provider accounts, message threads, transaction histories, invoices, or backups, including messages held in those platforms’ own systems.

On security: a form submission is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to a Cloudflare function and then delivered by email through Resend to AutoFob’s business mailbox. Information associated with communications and payments may be stored on business devices or within relevant email, messaging, payment, or other service-provider accounts. No method of electronic communication or storage is completely secure, and AutoFob cannot guarantee the security of information while it is being transmitted through a carrier, email provider, messaging platform, payment provider, or other third-party service.

Children’s Privacy

The website, including the contact form, is not directed to children under 13, and AutoFob does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through it. We ask that children under 13 not submit information through the form.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through a communication channel associated with the website, please contact us at info@autofoblocksmith.com.

Privacy Requests

Where applicable, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with you. Send requests to info@autofoblocksmith.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and requests are subject to applicable legal requirements and to AutoFob’s legitimate business, accounting, payment, warranty, security, and dispute-resolution obligations, which may require some information to be kept.

If you would like a message you sent through the contact form deleted, tell us and we will delete it from the AutoFob business mailbox. Copies a provider holds in its own delivery or security records are removed on that provider’s schedule rather than ours.

Changes to This Policy

We review this Policy whenever the website, business practices, service providers, or legal requirements change in ways that affect how personal information is collected or processed. The effective date at the top is updated when material changes are published.
